2025 Move Out Donation Collection

This is a general volunteer shift. Volunteers will go to designated collection areas to pick up goods donated by students as they move out. Tasks will be assigned based on need and availability but may include donation trailer supervision, emptying collection bins, and sorting donated goods. 

We utilize vans and/or golf carts to pick up donations around campus. If you are interested in being a driver, please check the box during registration and complete the Driver Certification training at least one week before your shift.

Volunteers will meet at the start of their shift in the Mac Gym of the RecPlex, located at 2006 Founders Ln. You will be moving around campus for the majority of the shift, so please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and clothing that you can easily move around in. Don’t forget your reusable water bottle!

*Physical demands of this volunteer position will include lifting or pushing 20-30 lb boxes or items, navigating through buildings, and getting in and out of a vehicle. If you have any concerns feel free to reach out to moveoutcollection@udayton.edu.
